Master of Biblical Studies

The Master of Biblical Studies program is designed to provide a broad biblical base for those who have graduated from a Bible College with a Bachelor of Theology or a Bachelor of Biblical Studies. The program applies biblical truths to the practical problems students face in life and ministry around the world. The program aims at providing a deeper understanding of Scripture and systematic theology, as well as critical skills for the integration of biblical knowledge with modern strategies for church ministry.

Admission Requirements

The applicant must present evidence of completion of Bible College and present evidence of dedication in some ministry area.

Course Requirements

The Master of Biblical Studies degree requires 48 credit-hours. A minimum of 42 credit hours must be completed at TCU.

Master of  Christian Counseling

Trispirit Christian University has partnered with the New Covenant Christian Counselors Association (N.C.C.C.A)to utilize its extensive curriculum to offer the Master of Christian Counseling (MCC).

Requirements for the Master of Christian Counseling include advanced specialized training in Christian Counseling, clinical supervision, internship, practicum, and thesis), and qualify the graduate as a Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor or Licensed Clinical Christian Counselor, with Board Certification in his or her chosen specialty areas, certified by the NCCCA.

Course Requirements

The Master of Christian Counseling degree requires 60 credit-hours. A minimum of 36 credit hours must be completed at TCU.

Master of Divinity (MDiv)

The Master of Divinity (MDiv) is a professional degree designed for those who have a bachelor’s degree and are serving ,or preparing to serve, on a church staff or in other ministry positions. Students develop competencies in Biblical theology, church history, doctrine, spiritual formation, as well as servant leadership skills required for local church ministry. The curriculum may be completed in three years, although many students take longer due to family, church, and job responsibilities. Is the Master of Divinity right for you? The Master of Divinity degree requires 96 credit-hours. A minimum of 84 credit hours must be completed at TCU.
